Biography
Alamia Annous's (pronounced Uh-LAM-yuh Uh-NOOS) professional expertise is built on 10 years of teaching across diverse institutions and age groups in both Lebanon and the United States. She has taught at the elementary, middle and high school levels, as well as in ESL programs at various language centers nationally and internationally. Now, she teaches college-level writing courses.
She is a current Ph.D. candidate in English at Wayne State University. Her research interests lie in ecocriticism, blue humanities, postcolonialism and post-World War II speculative fiction.
